💎 Why we love it ?
The Angra Hiking Tour is diverse and has different levels of difficulty, as well as being located in different panoramas. Mistérios Negros, Baías da Agualva, and Rocha do Chambre that each of them takes around 4 hours. We recommend bringing water and comfortable footwear and rain gear, as our weather can be slightly unpredictable.

Day 1: Angra Do Heroismo Hiking Tour
The Hiking Trails are diverse and have different levels of difficulty, as well as being located in different panoramas. The trail of the Black Mysteries is made around the last eruption on land in the Azores, 260 years ago, which is called Black Mysteries, given the fact that the volcanic land is still very black from the ashes.
The Rocha do Chambre trail focuses on Rocha do Chambre, and the floor is accessible throughout the walk, excluding the part of the descent from Rocha. Everything else is surrounded by nature and very calm.
The Ponta dos Mistérios trail is by the sea and we pass through several cliffs but at a safe distance. We can also observe the erosion of the sea and wind on the sea slopes.
Finally, the trail of the Fortes de São Sebastião is carried out in the southern coastal zone, passing through the bay of Ponta das Contenders, being a different floor from the trail previously described, as well as the landscape that on this coast is milder.

Joao catered the full day trip to our interests. He was knowledgable, passionate about his countries beauty, history and traditions. We saw mountains, volcano activity, the ocean , the countryside and had a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant that caters to the people of the Island. It was wonderful not to have to deal with a bus load of people . I remembered this tour from 2 years ago and I was so delighted that the friend that I was traveling with shared the same opinion of the tours excellence. I only wish that there were more stars to give Spot Tours and our guide Joao.
