🏁 Tour Itinerary: Cappodocia, Ephesus and Pamukkale Tour

Day 1: South Cappadocia Tour (Green Tour) – (L)

The guide will meet you in the hotel lobby around 09.00 am. You will have a tour of South Cappadocia, also known as Green Tour.
Kaymaklı Underground city, the widest underground city in the area with 4 floors open to visitors.
Rose Valley, interesting for walking, as you can see many vineyards and gardens throughout the valley.
Red Valley, interesting for its rock layers of unusual colors.
Cavusin village (one of the oldest settlements in the area)
Pigeon Valley, famous for its pigeon dwellings carved into the rock.
Uchisar Castle panorama – the highest point in the region.
Love Valley, known for especially unusual rock formations.
You will have a lunch stop during this tour.
Return to hotel and overnight stay.

 

Day 2: North Cappadocia ( Red Tour) – (B, L)

The guide will meet you in the hotel lobby around 09.00 am and take you to the North Cappadocia tour, known as the Red tour.
Esentepe viewpoint, a typical photo stop.
Goreme open-air museum (important early Christianity center)
Monks valley or Pasabag, famous for its fairy chimneys.
Avanos village (with stops in traditional pottery workshop)
Three beauties, another unique formation, and a famous symbol of the area.
Dervent Valley, well known for its lunar landscape.
You will have a lunch stop during the tour.
Transfer to Kayseri airport to fly to Izmir. Arrival in Izmir, transfer to a hotel in Kusadasi and overnight stay.
The average tour duration is 8 hours.

 

Day 3: Ephesus Sightseeing (B, L)

The guide and driver will meet you in the hotel and take you to the Ephesus area (20 minutes driving).
Our first stop is the House of Virgin Mary (it is believed that the mother of Jesus spent some time in a house close to Ephesus).
You will spend about 2 hours in Ephesus, one of the most visited sights in Turkey.
You will have a lunch stop during this tour.
You will visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of antiquity.
Return to Kusadasi, overnight stay.

 

Day 4: Pamukkale and Hierapolis (B, L)

Check out from your Kusadasi hotel and 3-hours driving.
Once we arrive in Pamukkale, you will visit the most important ruins of ancient Hierapolis.
You will also have the chance to see the natural sight, the “cotton castle” of Pamukkale; you can also spend some time swimming in the Ancient pool.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
1-hour transfer to Denizli airport to fly to Istanbul.
ِirect flights from Kayseri to Izmir are not available every day, so depending on flight availability we may need to change the order of daily tours.
