During this cooking class, you will taste up to 10 flavors, which include a starter and a dish that you’ll cook yourself following the recipes and tips of your experienced chef. The experience includes a visit to a local street market where you will buy the ingredients needed for the cooking class, from your chef’s favorite merchants. The market tour will also allow you to taste some seasonal fruits and immerse yourself in a true local market experience – you will be the only tourists, for sure!

Cooking Class Tour
Get carried away by your chef in this 4-hour Peruvian cooking class. Your local chef will reveal to you her best cooking tips and show you the busy local market where you will first stop. It will be the opportunity to buy the ingredients necessary for the preparation of a delicious menu, but also to taste some exotic fruits.
Among the merchants of fruit, vegetables, and meat, you will discover the colors and flavors of a typical Peruvian market.
You will then take the bus to your chef’s place to learn, step by step, to cook some of the most emblematic dishes of Peruvian gastronomy.
Although it’s very likely that you will have the chance to taste everything listed below, please note that it’s possible that the menu might slightly change depending on seasonality and product availability. But don’t worry, you won’t feel hungry at the end of this cooking class.

Payment in full and upfront for all our services, tours, or experiences is required. Bookings are final and confirmed at the time of payment. All prices featured on our website don’t include the 18% VAT. All non-residents are exonerated to pay the VAT, so please send us a photo of your passport ID’s page via email or WhatsApp (+1 418 943 3701) before the tour, and so for all the participants of the tour. We will also need your date of entry to Peru. If we do not get your passport and your date of entry to Peru, we will need to surcharge the 18% tax on top of the tour price paid. By making full payment to Exquisito Perú for a service, a tour, or an experience you are accepting all our terms and conditions.
We understand that, sometimes, unexpected changes occur. It happens to everyone, we included! Our cancellation policy is as flexible as it can be and works as follow:
100% refund, minus transaction fees, up to 48 hours before the start of the tour. No questions asked!
If you cancel anytime between 48 to 24 hours before the start of the tour, you will receive no refund but will have the option to either:
Reschedule the tour at an available date.
Use the amount paid as a credit to book another tour.
Give away your credit to the person of your choice.
Please note that these conditions only apply for bookings made directly through exquisitoperu.com. Bookings made through our distributors are subject to their own cancellation policies. If no cancellation policy is specified by our distributors, the cancellation policy mentioned above applies.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to the tour start address, you may be considered a “no-show”. In case a pickup is included in the package or is purchased separately, the tolerance before you may be considered a “no-show” is also 10 minutes. “No-shows” means no refund without exception, and will be treated under the same conditions as a cancellation that occurred under 48 hours before the start of the tour.
