Any questions you may have regarding your trip will be discussed so that you are well-prepared for the trip.

Day 2 – Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu (B)

We will take an acclimatization day in Kathmandu today where we spend time exploring the cultural heritage sites in the valley. The sightseeing tour that starts after breakfast takes you to four of the amazing cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley.
Exploring Swoyambhunath, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath will give you an incredible experience of ancient, medieval, and modern cultural, historical, and spiritual wonders. You will see and experience the lifestyle in Kathmandu during the tour. The tour will take pretty much of our day, today. We will return back to the hotel later in the afternoon.
We will do the last-minute preparation and packing for the trekking adventure to start tomorrow.

Day 3 – Kathmandu – Lukla (2,860m) – Phakding (2,660m) – (B, L, D)

We have an early morning flight to Lukla today. So, we drive to the airport for the exciting Himalayan flight to the gateway to the Everest region. A wonderful flight on a small airplane takes us to the beautiful town of Lukla with the views of stunning mountains.
After landing at Lukla, we meet our whole trekking crew and get ready to walk for the day. It is an easy start to the walk of the adventure trek to the Everest Base Camp. We are going to trek to Phakding village on the bank of the Dudh Koshi River. Around four hours of trek, today introduces us to the trail, surroundings, nature, and the views of mountains in the Everest region. The atmosphere of our overnight site, Phakding, feels amazing on the bank of the gushing river.

Day 4 – Phakding – Namche (3,440m) – (B, L, D)

The second day of the walk today takes us to the beautiful and famous Sherpa town of Namche Bazar at an elevation of 3,440 meters above sea level. Almost all uphill walks for the day takes us past the beautiful natural surroundings of nature and the view of mountains. As we enter the Sagarmatha National Park today, we will also walk over several suspension bridges over the gushing river.
Finally, we reach Namche Bazar after the walk of around six hours. The view of the mountains and the wonderful surroundings of Namche helps us relax and settle. We take it easy to acclimatize well to the changing climatic situation and elevation.

Day 5 – Acclimatization Day (B, L, D)

We have an extra day stopover at Namche today that will help us acclimatize well before we head further higher. Namche has beautiful places in the surroundings where we can go for day hiking and exploration instead of staying idle at the lodge and Bazar. The hiking exploration for the day will also help us get better acclimatized and we become ready to trek to the higher elevation.

Day 6 – Namche – Dole (4,110m) – (B, L, D)

Our trekking journey continues towards Gokyo valley from today onwards. It takes a different trail towards Gokyo than the regular Everest base camp trail. We trek to a peaceful place called Dole to stay overnight. The trail is also a peaceful stretch as there are fewer trekkers along the region. Leaving the Everest base camp trail and entering into the solitude of the trail towards Gokyo valley feels like going into the wilderness. Once we reach Dole and check into the teahouse, we take an easy time to relax and absorb more of the mountains.

Day 7 – Dole – Machhermo (4,410m) – (B, L, D)

We will trek to Macchermo today while on our trekking adventure towards the amazing Gokyo valley and lakes. Another day of walk traversing the trail stretch of peaceful surroundings and wonderful views takes us to the destination today. We will have a refreshing afternoon in the beautiful surroundings of Macchermo once we reach there.

Day 8 – Machhermo – Gokyo Lake (4,760m) – (B, L, D)

Our walk today takes us eventually to the magical valley of Gokyo and the Lakes. The trail that winds up the mountain keeps surprising us with wonderful unfolds of mountains, lakes, and glacier views. As we feel awed by what comes along the trail, we finally make it to the bank of the third lake in Gokyo to stay overnight. We will also have time to enjoy the charm of the lake and its surroundings once we reach there.

Day 9 – Gokyo Exploration Day (B, L, D)

We spend an extra day here at Gokyo Lakes today that will help us in adjusting to the climate of the increasing elevation. A day of easy exploration around the Gokyo Lakes will bring us memorable experiences to cherish.

Day 10 – Gokyo Ri (5,357m) – Thagnag (4,750m) – (B, L, D)

We have an adventurous and early morning today. Our day starts with a beautiful hiking adventure to an amazing viewpoint of Gokyo Ri. The hike will bring us one of the best views that we will ever see on earth. Early morning wake-up and a challenging hike up to the Ri is certainly a worth adventure doing it.
Later we return back to Gokyo Lake and continue the trek towards Thagnag to stay overnight. It is about four hours of trek to Thagnag from Gokyo Lake.

Day 11 – Thagnag – Cho La (5,420m) – Dzongla (4,830m) – (B, L, D)

Another day of adventure walk and the highlight of the trip, the walk over Cho La pass, is today. Our day starts early in the morning with an uphill walk towards the famous Cho La pass. The impressive elevation of the Cho La pass at 5,420 meters above sea level offers a dramatic view of the mountains and surroundings. We get to enjoy such a magnificent view before descending to Dzongla to stay overnight. Walking over the pass is certainly a challenging task but definitely a worthy effort to go for.

Day 12 – Dzongla – Lobuche (4,910m) – (B, L, D)

We finally walk to meet the regular trail to the Everest Base Camp today. Our walk takes us to Lobuche on the Everest base camp trail. After walking through a much more peaceful trail in the Gokyo valley, now we come to meet more trekkers heading towards the base camp of Mt. Everest. We spend the rest of the day at leisure in Lobuche and enjoy the view of the surroundings.

Day 13 – Lobuche – Gorakshep (5,164m) – Everest Base Camp (5,364m) – (B, L, D)

Finally, the most exciting day of the trip has arrived. We are going to be at the base camp of Mt. Everest and enjoy the blissful moments there. But before that, we surely need to walk for the day. We will trek towards Gorakshep that is our overnight site for the day and check into a lodge before heading to the base camp. The walk to the Everest base camp starts after relishing our lunch at the highest overnight site for the trip.
Eventually the famous Everest Base Camp is right there where we will stand. We enjoy the overwhelmingly magnificent surroundings of the base camp and spend some beautiful moments there. Later, we need to trek back to Gorakshep to stay overnight. The day has brought us to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world.

Day 14 – Gorakshep – Kalapatthar (5,545m) – Pheriche (4,371m) – (B, L, D)

Although every day of the adventure trek to the Everest base camp is exciting, we are due another incredibly exciting moment of the trip. The early morning hiking trip to the Kalapatthar viewpoint is what we are looking forward to early in the morning. Our early morning effort to hike to the highest elevation of the trek is worth going for. The panoramic view of Mt. Everest and other mountains in the surroundings is simply breathtaking. We will also get to enjoy a joyous sunrise experience over the mountains.
Later, we hike back down to Gorakshep and trek further down to Pheriche. Pheriche is a famous overnight stop for trekkers. We will enjoy the beautiful surroundings once we check into a lodge.

Day 15 – Pheriche – Namche (3,440m) – (B, L, D)

Our walking journey in the Everest region continues back towards Namche Bazar today. The peaceful natural surroundings and decreasing elevation make us feel better and easier.

Day 16 – Namche – Lukla (2,860m) – (B, L, D)

This is the last day of the trek and we traverse the trail all the way to Lukla from Namche. Once we reach Lukla and check into the lodge, we will take an easy time to explore and wander around the place. It has been an amazing adventure to the Everest base camp and thanks to the whole team who made the adventure safe and an awesome experience. We befriended people, mountains, nature, and breathtaking surroundings that have left an incredible impression and experience.

Day 17 – Lukla – Kathmandu (B)

2019.12.21 I came to Nepal. The purpose is the longing of Himalaya trekking! I had a trip plan at the bus company. The content of the plan is a long-cherished plan for a trekker from Lukla to Everest Base Camp & Kala Patthar on a domestic flight from Kathmandu airport in 11 days. Blessed with good weather, it was a good trekking every day.
It was a bit cold, but the view from EBC. Kala Patthar was amazing.
The guide was very kind and helpful.
Also, when traveling in Nepal, I would like the bus to plan.
    Thank you very much.
