Itinerary

Hotel pickup

Your guide picks you up from a centrally located hotel in a retro Żuk minibus. Hotel pickup and drop-off are available for selected central hotels. If your hotel is not listed, a convenient meeting point will be arranged.

Grzybowski Square - introduction to the city

The tour begins at Grzybowski Square, a place that perfectly reflects Warsaw’s turbulent 20th-century history. This area witnessed two world wars, two totalitarian systems, and—finally—remarkable recovery and growth in modern Europe.

Pavilions – First Vodka Shot

Instead of mainstream pubs, your first stop is the Pavilions—a cluster of over 20 small bars created in former workshops and shops. Originally shaped by the student community, this lively area holds a special place on Warsaw’s cultural and nightlife map. Here, you’ll enjoy your first vodka shot.

Communist Party Headquarters

After the first drink, the tour continues with a deeper look at communist-era Poland. Stop near the former Communist Party headquarters—an imposing building later taken over by the Warsaw Stock Exchange after 1989, offering a striking symbol of political and economic change.

Drive to Praga – Across the Vistula River

Cross the Vistula River to Praga, the only district of Warsaw that survived WWII largely intact. Once neglected and associated with illegal alcohol production and black-market trade, Praga has undergone a major revival over the past 15 years.

Praga Bars – Second Vodka Shot

Visit one of Praga’s independent bars for your second vodka shot. This is a place you won’t find in the city center—authentic, slightly eccentric, and full of local character.

Vistula Riverside or Central Bar – Third Drink

In summer, the final stop takes place at riverside bars along the Vistula—one of Warsaw’s favorite evening hangouts. Outside the summer season, the tour ends at a carefully selected bar in central Warsaw.

Drop off: spot chosen by you

Our guide will drop you off at the spot chosen by you, within the limits of the city centre.
