Step 1

Day 1

Unearthing Pharaoh’s Legacy: A Camping Adventure to Serabit

Serabit el-Khadim Mountain Leaving Sharm at 6.00 a.m. to drive to the temple at
Serabit El Khadem – mountain top ruins of an ancient Pharaonic and Hexus
temple, and the namesake for the area. In Pharaonic times, the temple was
dedicated to Hathor, an ancient mother-goddess especially associated with the
arts. She was the goddess of the turquoise miners who discovered the rich veins of
Serabit around 3500 BC. Lunch in the village. Afternoon walks/drive around the
area including El Dura .
In the evening , we can relax in our Bedouin Hut or Tent and drinking some
Bedouin Tea and waiting for the dinner time the the romantic fire light in the
desert watching in this open Nature atmosphere the Shooting Stars and Mediate.

Day 2

Jabal Ḩamāyir Morning drive through the wide wadi to Hamayir – a granite
and sandstone rock formation with a high dune, Acacias in the wadi, and
reservoirs of rainwater. Continue to the Forest of Pillars – lava pillars left
standing after wind and water eroded the surrounding sandstone. Lunch. Finally
through Wadi Siyh to the road at Wadi Fieran. Around sunset, return to Sharm
