  • Visitors with a disability certificate of 67% or more enter the Vatican Museums for free. If the visitor is not self-sufficient, one companion also enters for free. These free tickets cannot be booked online and do not require a reservation. Simply go directly to the Vatican Museums entrance Comfortable walking shoes are recommended Visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security checkpoint. Please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security. Dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museums and knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.
