Itinerary

Luxor in a Day: Kings, Temples & Colossi

Pre-Departure:

  • (The day before): Confirm flight and pick-up details with tour operator.
  • [Packing] (Optional): Pack comfortable clothing and walking shoes suitable for hot weather. Consider sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen).

Departure Day:

  • 4:30 AM: Hotel pick-up in Sharm El Sheikh by air-conditioned vehicle.
  • 5:30 AM: Arrive at Sharm El Sheikh airport and board flight to Luxor.
  • Flight to Luxor: Relax and enjoy the scenic views (time subject to flight duration).

Luxor Exploration:

  • 8:00 AM: Arrive in Luxor and begin the tour with the Valley of the Kings. Explore three tombs from different dynasties.
  • 10:30 AM: Proceed to Hatshepsut Temple, learn about the female pharaoh and admire the unique design.
  • 12:30 PM: Lunch break at a local Luxor restaurant.
  • 1:30 PM: Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, explore the vast site and its iconic features.
  • 3:00 PM: See the Colossi of Memnon, towering statues guarding an ancient temple entrance.
  • 4:00 PM: Visit local shops in Luxor (optional shopping time).

Return Journey:

  • 5:00 PM: Depart from Luxor and head back to Luxor Airport.
  • Flight back to Sharm El Sheikh: Enjoy the return flight. 
  • Arrival in Sharm El Sheikh: Transfer back to your hotel around 20:30.
