Itinerary

Step 1

The tour starts by pick up at your Nairobi Hotel or Airport.
See the skyline and enjoy the breeze of Nairobi at Kenyatta International Convention Center rooftop and the deck also provides an opportunity to take amazing photos of the city from a bird’s eye view.

Step 2

You will then be driven to the Giraffe centre where you will learn more about the conversation efforts to conserve an endangered species. The center's main purpose is to protect and help with the breeding of the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Under the supervision of a professional, you can feed the giraffes from a raised observation platform. These platforms allow the visitors to come eye-to-eye with the giraffes. The center also has a large auditorium where visitors can listen to talks about Giraffe conservation and a various activities the center is involved in

Step 3

The next stop visit Kobe Bead Factory. This is a pottery company that makes one of the world most beautiful beads. You will be shown all the stages from the start to the finish. It’s also a unique factory as it employs single mother parents from the poor neighborhood who earn a living to support their families. This pottery, ceramic and bead factory employs all single mothers to make its beautiful gifts and souvenirs – which are now exported all around the world. There is a gift shop which stocks some of their wares. Please note that the workshop is closed Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, however the gift shop is open 7 days

Step 4

You will be taken out for lunch (own expense) at Bomas of Kenya or Tamambo or similar restaurant then enter auditorium for cultural dances The tribal cultural shows happens every day from 2:30pm to 4pm and display tribal talent in music, dance, theatre/drama, fashion show, poetry/recitals and comedies. If you are interested in Kenyan culture or just want an afternoon of African entertainment, this is a day trip not to be missed
