Itinerary

Rafina port

Begin your journey in the tranquil port of Rafina, just as the first light of day paints the sky. In the peaceful early morning hours, watch a breathtaking sunrise unfold over the Aegean Sea, as golden hues reflect on the calm waters and fishing boats gently sway in the harbor. This serene moment offers the perfect start to your adventure, setting the tone for a day of discovery. Soon after, board your fast ferry and glide across the sparkling Aegean, leaving the mainland behind as you sail toward the iconic island of Mykonos.

Mykonos New Port – First Glimpse of the Island

Arriving at the bustling Mykonos New Port, visitors are welcomed with their first panoramic views of this world-famous island. As the ferry approaches, take in the iconic Cycladic landscape—whitewashed buildings scattered across sunlit hills, framed by the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. The port itself is lively and cosmopolitan, often hosting an impressive mix of ferries and cruise ships that highlight Mykonos’ global appeal. Upon arrival, guests will smoothly disembark and be transferred to the vibrant city centre, where the true charm of Mykonos begins to unfold.

Mykonos Old Port – Gateway to Chora

Step into the heart of Mykonos as you arrive at the charming Old Port, the traditional gateway to the island’s vibrant town (Chora). From here, the magic of Mykonos begins to unfold, with a maze of narrow, whitewashed lanes inviting you to explore. Wander through these iconic pathways, where bright bougainvillea cascades over cubic houses, and every corner reveals a postcard-perfect scene. The lively atmosphere, blending authentic Cycladic charm with cosmopolitan energy, makes this the perfect starting point to discover the island’s unique character.

Paraportiani Church – A Cycladic Masterpiece

Discover one of the most iconic landmarks of Mykonos, the remarkable Paraportiani Church. This unique architectural gem is actually a complex of five small churches, seamlessly blended into a striking, asymmetrical structure that seems almost sculpted by the Aegean light. Its pure white surfaces contrast beautifully with the deep blue sky and sea, creating one of the most photographed scenes on the island. Located at the edge of Chora near the sea, Paraportiani offers a serene and timeless atmosphere, capturing the essence of Cycladic beauty and spiritual heritage.

Little Venice – Seaside Charm & Iconic Views

Experience the enchanting beauty of Little Venice, one of Mykonos’ most picturesque and romantic corners. Here, colorful historic houses are built right on the water’s edge, with balconies seemingly suspended above the Aegean Sea. Waves gently lap against the buildings, creating a unique and captivating atmosphere. This charming waterfront is the perfect spot to soak in stunning sea views, capture unforgettable photos, and feel the island’s vibrant yet timeless spirit—especially as the light dances across the water throughout the day.

Windmills of Mykonos – Timeless Island Icons

Standing proudly above the town, the iconic Windmills of Mykonos are among the island’s most recognizable landmarks. Once essential to the island’s economy, these historic structures were used to mill grain, harnessing the power of the strong Aegean winds. Today, they offer a glimpse into Mykonos’ past while providing breathtaking panoramic views over Little Venice and the sparkling sea. Their striking white silhouettes against the blue sky create a truly unforgettable scene, especially during sunset, making them a must-see highlight of the island.

Matoyannia – The Heart of Mykonos’ Cosmopolitan Life

Stroll through the vibrant Matoyannia neighborhood, the beating heart of Mykonos’ social and shopping scene. This lively district is a maze of elegant, whitewashed streets lined with stylish boutiques, local artisan shops, charming cafés, and upscale restaurants. Blending traditional Cycladic architecture with a cosmopolitan flair, Matoyannia offers a unique atmosphere where luxury meets authenticity. Whether browsing for local treasures or simply soaking in the energy of the island, this is the perfect place to experience the dynamic spirit of Mykonos.
