Start the journey
Start the journey from the hotel where you are starting at 7.30 in the morning.
Climb Knuckles mountains
Starting from Kandy, we have to drive for about an hour to take care of the natural rivers, streams, paddy fields, spice villages and gardens.The trek starts from Thangappuwa, the last village in the Knuckles Mountains, where we first encounter tea plantations.On this trip we will stop for a rest at around 10:30 am in a scenic spot where we will be able to see some of the forests of Thangappuwa and Knuckles Reserve.Upon resumption of the trek we will be able to see a wide variety of flora and fauna including the reserve as well as the rocky surroundings such as small waterfowl.
After visiting some of the most valuable places in the Knuckles Reserve, we make our way to the next waterfall using difficult routes. This place is very important and a great place to bathe.We then use other routes to return to where we started. This time is around 03:30 pm and then we get in our car and leave for Kandy. It's around 4.30pm when we get to town.
