Itinerary

Departure from Kandy

Most tours include hotel pickup between 7:00–7:30 AM; some start earlier, around 6:00 AM

Scenic Drive to Trailhead

Expect a 1–2 hour drive, winding past village life, tea plantations, temples, rice fields, and rolling hills

Hiking Trails

You can choose from different route types based on difficulty and highlights:

  • High Knuckles Trek (Medium–Hard): ~14 km round-trip, includes forest, streams, endemic flora/fauna
  • Smooth & Medium Trek: ~14 km exploration with village visits, cloud forest, swimming in natural pool, scenic spots
  • Spice Trail (Smooth–Medium): 10–15 km, passes through pine/eucalyptus forests, rice paddies, spice gardens, a village, plus a natural pool stop
Lunch & Nature Breaks
  • Most tours include a picnic lunch, sometimes in a village or with a view atop a ridge.
  • Some experiences might include home-cooked or village meals.
