Step 1
Delight from Georgian landscapes The road from Tbilisi to runs along the picturesque gorge of the Aragvi River: The first stop at one of the dams of the Zhinvali reservoir: You will admire its turquoise smooth surface and learn about the origin and role of this reservoir.
Step 2
On the coast of Aragvi you will be met by the only fortress of Georgia that has reached us in its original form. Walking through the territory of the Ananuri defense complex, you will feel like a resident of the Middle Ages and learn about the glorious past of the Aragva eristavi (heads of the people). And we will definitely pay attention to the Assumption Church of the 17th century, whose facade is decorated with interesting bas-reliefs, and each element of the decor carries a hidden meaning.
Step 3
You will find the confluence of two rivers (White and Black Aragvi), breathtaking views at the Arch of Friendship and an unusual mineral spring resembling a golden river.
Step 4
Tour program:
Travel to Khada gorge in the village of Kvesheti. Khada gorge is the only road that connects Georgia with Russia through the Caucasus Mountains. Upon arrival in the valley, the guide will offer you several routes depending on your physical training and the duration of the route (3 to 7 hours). During the hike you will find sixty towers of land, a mineral spring, ancient villages, an ancient castle and alpine plants. Picnic by agreement. Go down the road. Return to Tbilisi.
