Itinerary

Day 1

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

  • At 8 o'clock you will be picked up from your Hotel within city center to join a group and commence the drive to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley point where you will have a breaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be a picnic on the way. In the afternoon after checking in, you will start off with a game drive at Mara. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at the camp.
    Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. It's regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Masai Mara is the wonder of the world.

  • At 8 am, you will be picked up from your hotel within the city centre/Westland area and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Arrive in time for lunch. In the evening at 4.00pm depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats is extremely high, ends at 6:00pm.

    Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.

Day 2

Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

  • Have breakfast at 6

    Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

    It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3

Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru

  • You will take an early breakfast, check out and thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru Optional visit to Maasai Village at an extra cost. Arrive in Nakuru in time for dinner.

Day 4
  • You will have an early breakfast,check out , You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7:00 am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos . The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart to Naivasha.You will have lunch on the way.

    In the afternoon, go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing and crescent Island Sanctuary for a unique walk with wildlife. The sanctuary is home for giraffes, water-bucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, impalas and hippos among other wildlife one is likely to find at the conservancy. Birds include the fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters and many more

Day 5

Naivasha to Nairobi

  • Breakfast at the resort and check out

    Breakfast at the resort and check out.Thereafter proceed to Hell’s Gate for biking safari with a visit to the gorges.

    After this  drive back to Nairobi with drop off at your hotel or airport
