Day 1

Arrival

Day 2

Nairobi to Tsavo East national park

  • Pick up from the hotel  in the morning then drive to Tsavo East national park after breakfast which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions Game en route to your Lodge .Check in and have lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, another game drive at the park later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4

    Early morning game drive return to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast leave Tsavo East for Tsavo West with Game drive  en route to your lodge. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the rhino sanctuary and return to the lodge where there is usually a leopard  and if you are lucky you will see it .

Day 5

Tsavo west to Amboseli national park

    Early breakfast, then proceed for a morning game drive with a visit of Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. Later proceed to Amboseli National park arriving in time for lunch and check in at your lodge. Afternoon game drive  within the Amboseli which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli national park to Mt Kenya park

  • Today you will be picked from the hotel, then be driven to the northern side of the country to the foot of Mt. kenya whereby you will arrive in the afternoon. After lunch you will be taken for the walk at the Mau Mau cave where by the colonial people where fighting with British.

Day 8

Mt Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve

    You will be picked up from your lodge early in the morning, thereafter you will be drive north past the equator to the northern frontier district. Continue to the semi arid Samburu National reserve and check in to your lodge for lunch Lunch. There will be time to settle in before your safari adventure. Set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark.

Day 9

    Wake up call.
    6.30am Set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal, it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog…whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring! 8.30am Back at the lodge, enjoy your sumptuous breakfast. 12.30pm lunch in the lodge then its time at leisure to relax by the riverside watching crocodile 4.00pm afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge before dark.6.30pm

Day 10

Samburu to lake Naivasha

  • After early breakfast depart for a morning game drive in the reserve, en-route to the gate. Drive in a southerly direction to the equator for a brief stop. Here, the locals do a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator and for a small tip you could be awarded an 'equator Certificate'
    After the brief stop, Drive to the Thompsons falls for a photo-stop then down into the great rift valley. As you ascend the eastern wall of the rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya.

Day 11

Green crater lake walk

  • Breakfast will be at 7

    Breakfast will be at 7.00 am and you will be picked up by your driver at 8.00am. The road to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha and along a rough and bumpy road down the edge of lake Naivasha passing by huge Greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market. You will arrive at the Green Crater Lake at 9.30am approx and you will begin your morning game walk. The green crater lake was formed by volcanic activity. The group will walk in a reserve where its possible to get up close to Giraffe and many varieties of antelopes. Its great opportunity for photos. The guides will answer questions about the animals, birdlife etc and point out the rocks formed due to the volcanic activity.

Day 12

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

    Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Nakuru for Masai mara arriving in time for lunch. Check in mara luxury tented camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo.

Day 14

Masai Mara to lake Nakuru national park

  • Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park after breakfast ,Afternoon game drive takes you to the lake to view Flamingos and pelicans. Also, spot White/Black Rhinos, Rothschild Giraffe, Waterbucks and other kinds of African wildlife. The Lake Forest attracts a wide variety of birds.

Lake Nakuru to lake Bogoria to Bungoma

  • Today you will wake up in the morning for your early breakfast and leave for lake Bogoria which is famous for its springs like hot, warm, cold geysers from the underground form due to volcanic activities. You will have your picnic lunch with you and you will accompany yourself with eggs to do real practical at the hot geysers on how hot they are.

Bungoma to Jinja

  • After breakfast, we will transfer to the Malaba border, then drive to the source of River Nile one of the longest River in the world and spend some time at the source, looking at craft markets, and getting to know the locals. You will enjoy dinner and overnight at Paradise Hotel on the Nile.

Day 17

Jinja to Lake Bunyonyi

  • After morning breakfast you will drive down to Kabale Uganda's highest town (2000 m), with beautiful, lush scenery along the way. We will camp at Lake Bunyonyi, Africa's deepest crater lake (900 m). Bunyonyi means "place of little birds", so you can expect to view interesting and unique bird-life. This is an excellent resting point before the gorilla trek.

    Today you will eat breakfast and then take an optional guided walk to visit locals in the community. You will have the option to visit with the local Batwa people or go canoeing on the lake. Return to camp in time for lunch, after which you will be free to visit the children’s orphanage in the local village or spend the evening at leisure.

Day 19

Gorilla trekking in Mgahiga Park

  • Enjoy a beautiful drive over the mountains, as we transfer to our base in Mgahinga , on the southwestern tip of Uganda. Today we embark on the experience of a lifetime. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is home to more than half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorilla and the golden Monkeys. Fortunately for the gorillas are the main reason as to why the park was created by the Uganda government. The trekking can be demanding and last the day long. A water bottle and good walking shoes or boots are highly recommended. Experienced local guides will lead us through the thick mountain jungle. Once we locate the gorillas, we will stay and observe them for about an hour - this time is strictly governed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Photography is permitted (although not the use of flash, and there are restrictions to the use of video cameras), but with or without a camera, this is one of the most breathtaking and emotional experiences Africa can offer, and certainly one that will remain with you long after your journey.

Day 21

  • Half day optional city tour, including the genocide museum/memorial, then we drive to Kinigi via Ruhengeri. The road to Ruhengeri is sealed offering stunning scenery of the hills and valleys of this green and lush country, taking a little more than 2 hours. From Ruhengeri we have a 20 minute drive to Kinigi at the base of Sabyinyo Mountain, with excellent views of the rest of all of the Virunga Volcanoes. All meals dinner, lunch, breakfast, bed included.

Kigali to Arusha

  • After early breakfast, then you will depart to Arusha via a flight. Arusha sits at the foot of rugged Mount Meru, and is the gateway to most of Tanzania’s safari areas. Our afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Arusha to manyara national park

  • Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara national park for full day game drives with packed lunches.  Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Lake Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions are another reason to pay this park a visit. The only kind of their species in the world, they make the ancient mahogany and elegant acacias their home during the rainy season, and are a well-known but rather rare feature of the northern park. In addition to the lions, the national park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world a fact that makes for interesting game viewing of large families of the primates.

  • Full days in Serengeti plains, search for wild game /trailing the wildebeest migration herds/predators. Morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Lodge/ Campsite at Seronera area in the heart of the Serengeti. Serengeti is easily Tanzania's most famous national park, and it's also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that borders Kenya's Masai Mara Game Park. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants.

Day 26

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

  • We will transfer to the Ngorongoro crater, via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20 km wide volcanic crater with 600 m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5 million year-old fossil fragments of an early human civilization. The views from the top of the crater wall are absolutely breathtaking which are forested but four wheel drive vehicles will take you down into this primeval paradise of woodland, lake, river, swamp and plain that shelters around 20,000 animals. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depends on the open grasslands in the crater. Attracting predators, the black-manned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. The Fever Tree forests shelter monkeys, bushbuck and waterbuck and the few black rhino that have taken refuge here. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingoes and is a favorite place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden and the afternoon will be spent at the crater tour.

Ngorongoro-Arusha-Zanzibar

  • After breakfast you will be driven back to Arusha for your plain to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will meet Zanzibar Ocean Blue chauffeur and take you to Zanzibar Ocean Blue Resort. In the resort you will enjoy yourself with the cool breeze from the ocean and later retire to your comfortable bed for night rest.
