Two Days Guided Amboseli Tour

Your Amboseli adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi. The drive takes you south through the Kenyan countryside, passing small towns and farmlands before reaching the park by late morning. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the open plains and, on clear days, the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance.

Upon arrival, you’ll check into your lodge or tented camp and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. After a short rest, the excitement builds as you set out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park. Known as the “Land of Giants,” the park is famous for its large herds of elephants, often seen against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. You’ll also encounter zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and predators such as lions and hyenas.

As the afternoon fades, the golden light of sunset creates stunning photographic opportunities, especially with Kilimanjaro towering in the background. You’ll return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxed evening, surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness. This first day offers a perfect introduction to Amboseli’s breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife.

The second day begins with an early breakfast before setting out for a morning game drive. This is the best time to see predators returning from their night hunts and elephants moving across the plains. The crisp morning air and soft light make for unforgettable sightings.

A highlight of the day is a visit to Observation Hill, a vantage point that offers panoramic views of the park. From here, you can see the swamps below where elephants, hippos, and a variety of bird species gather. It’s the perfect spot to appreciate Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems and the grandeur of Kilimanjaro in the distance.

After the game drive and hill visit, you’ll return to your lodge for an early lunch. By late morning, you’ll check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi. The drive once again takes you through scenic countryside, with arrival in the city by late afternoon, marking the end of your two-day safari adventure.
