Day 2

Istanbul Highlights

  • After a night of rest and a delicious breakfast at your accommodation in Istanbul, you will then begin your grand tour of this amazing metropolis. This tour will cover the highlights even with such little time, you will not be left wanting. A visit to the Blue Mosque will be the first stop with its famous blue tiles.

  • The Hagia Sophia

    The Hagia Sophia is a requirement and you will be stunned by the exquisite beauty of this famous structure.

  • You will also get to wander around the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar and grab some fantastic bargains.

North Cappadocia Tour

  • Whether you opt for the hot air balloon adventure or not, you will have time for breakfast at your accommodation before beginning a tour of North Cappadocia. Included in this day tour is a visit to the Goreme Esentepe which provides the second-best panoramic view of the area (when not flying in an hot air balloon).

  • You will also have a chance to explore the town of Avanos which is famous for terracotta pottery designs that date back to 3.000 BC. Here you can explore the local wares and chat with the craftsman who still creates these beautiful pieces.

  • Visits to the Goreme Open Air Museum, Monks Valley and Devrent Valley are also included on this tour and are the perfect opportunities to learn about the unique history and natural beauty of these areas. Your guide will take the time to describe these places to you and leave plenty of time for taking pictures.

  • Departure Day

  • Return to Kayseri airport, where you will catch a flight to Istanbul where you can continue your adventure or return home.
