Itinerary
Day 4 4 DaysTour to Jaffna

DAY 01 – Colombo To Jaffna
- Pick you up at the hotel at 7.00am
- Leave Colombo for Jaffna via Vavuniya
- Thereafter proceed for lunch at Vavuniya.
- Arrive at Murunkandy Kovil & attend rituals.
- Arrive at Kilinochchi, Pass through Elephant Pass.
- In the evening arrive at Jaffna and Visit Nallura Kovil in Jaffna.
- Jaffna’s most notable sight is the large Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, about 2km northeast of the town centre. Dedicated to Murugan (known to the Buddhist Sinhalese as Kataragama), this is the most impressive Hindu temple in Sri Lanka, and the only one on the island to rival the great shrines of India. The original temple is thought to date back to the mid-fifteenth century, though it was destroyed in 1620 by the Portuguese.

DAY 02 - Jaffna
- Breakfast at the Hotel
- Leave for Naga Deepa the historic Buddhist temple takes a boat trip.
- The Nagadeepa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya is one of the sixteen most sacred places of worship by the Buddhists in Sri Lanka. Pilgrims have been coming to Nagadeepa since about the 1st century AC to worship at its famous Rajayathana stupa. The Rajayathana stupa was constructed by two warring Naga kings, Chulodara and Mahodara, at the site where Lord Buddha during His second visit to the country on a Bak Maha Amawaka Poya Day, five years after attaining Enlightenment, intervened and mediated in settling a dispute over the possession of a gem-studded throne.
- Return to Jaffna for lunch.
- In the evening leave for Casuarina beach which is very popular among the tourists.
- End of the day take you back to the hotel
- Overnight stay at Tilko Hotel or Similar in Jaffna
DAY 03 - Jaffna
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Commence sightseeing in Jaffna
- Visit to the Point Pedro LightHouse, the northernmost point of Sri Lanka, Vallipuram Kovil.Kodai Crematory.
- Leave for Keeramallai to visit holy bathing ponds.
- Take lunch in a local restaurant .
- Visit Madagal also known as Dambakola Patuna where "Reverend Sangamitta '' landed with the Bo sapling
- In the evening, visit Kantharodai Viharaya and this temple is supposed to be 2000 years old. Commence Jaffna city tour including a visit to NagaVihara , Jaffna Library and Jaffna Fort. Back to hotel & overnight stay at Tilko Hotel or Similar in Jaffna
DAY 04 – Jaffna To Colombo
- Breakfast at the Hotel
- Leave for Colombo
- Drop you at the hotel or Katunayaka Airport
