TIANANMEN SQUARE

8:30-9:00 TIANANMEN SQUARE

We will visit the Tian'anmen Square, one of the largest city squares in the world.The Tiananmen is a monumental gate in the centre of Beijing, widely used as a national symbol of China. First built during the Ming dynasty in 1420, Tiananmen was the entrance to the Imperial City, within which the Forbidden City was located. 

NATIONAL MUSEUM

9:00-11:00 NATIONAL MUSEUM  

The National Museum of China flanks the eastern side of Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China. The museum's mission is to educate about the arts and history of China. It is one of the largest museums in the world, and with 8.6 million visitors in 2018, the National Museum of China was the second-most visited museum in the world, just after the Louvre (10.2 million).

We will visit the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Zhonghe Temple, Chengyi Palace, Jiaotai Hall, Kunning Palace, Jingren Palace, Taiji Temple, Chuxiu Palace, Palace Museum - Treasure Hall, Yansong Palace.

The Forbidden City is a palace complex in central Beijing, China. It houses the Palace Museum, and was the former Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty (the years 1420 to 1912). The Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households and was the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years.
