Itinerary

Day 1

  • 6:30-7:30 Private tour: HOTEL PICK UP

    Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel.

    7:30-9:00 BEIJING>THE MING TOMBS

    We will drive about 1.5 hours to the Ming tombs.

    The Ming tombs are a collection of mausoleums built by the emperors of the Ming dynasty of China.

    9:00-11:30 VISIT THE MING TOMBS

    We visit the underground mausoleum for about 2.5 hours.

    The Ming tombs are a collection of mausoleums built by the emperors of the Ming dynasty of China. The first Ming emperor's tomb is located near his capital Nanjing. However, the majority of the Ming tombs are located in a cluster near Beijing and collectively known as the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty.

    11:30-12:30 FREE TIME

    After the visit of Ming Tomb, you will have about 1 hour free time to have lunch.

    12:30-14:00 THE MING TOMBS>MUTIANYU GREAT WALL

    After lunch, we will go to the Mutianyu Great Wall. We will drive directly to the foot of the wall, the most beautiful section of the Great Wall.

    14:00-17:00 VISIT THE MUTIANYU GREAT WALL

    Travelers can choose go hiking on the wall or take a cable car ride to the top of the hill. (Time on the wall: 2-3 hours.) (The cable car price not included: 135yuan/per.)

    Mutianyu is a section of the Great Wall of China. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs.

    17:00-18:30 MUTIANYU GREAT WALL>BEIJING 

    Transfer you back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 2

  • 7:30-8:00 HOTEL PICK UP 

    Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel.

    8:30-11:30 TIAN'ANMEN SQUARE + THE FORBIDDEN CITY

    We will drive to Tian'anmen Square, one of the largest city squares in the world. 

    Pass through the big gate with Chairman mao's Portrait, we will visit the Forbidden City(2.5h).

    The Forbidden City is a palace complex in central Beijing, China. It houses the Palace Museum, and was the former Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty (the years 1420 to 1912). The Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households and was the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years.

    11:30-12:30 FREE TIME

    After the visit of the Forbidden City at about 11:30AM, you will have about 1 hour free time to have lunch.

    13:00-14:00 VISIT THE TEMPLE OF HEAVEN

    After lunch, we will go to the Temple of heaven.The Temple of Heaven was visited by the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.(1h)

    15:00-17:00 THE SUMMER PALACE

    We drive about 40 minutes to Summer Palace. It was an imperial garden in the Qing Dynasty. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometres three-quarters of which is water.(2h)

    17:30-18:00 THE SUMMER PALACE>BEIJING 

    Transfer you back to your hotel after the tour.
