Day 1

Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Lopburi – Phitsanulok (-/L/-) In the morning (exact time to be advised), depart from Bangkok to Northern Thailand. You will first stop at Bang Pa In, the former summer residence for the Kings of Ayutthaya, built in the 18th century. There you will visit the Royal Palace, the Thai pavilion, the Chinese-style Palace Vihat Chamrun with their elephant shaped trimmed bushes. You will then continue to Ayutthaya, which used to be the capital of Siam from 1350 to 1767. You will have the chance to visit some of its most interesting temples before heading to Lopburi. There, you will explore Phra Prang Sam Yod, a stunning temple with three towers and impressive ornaments, and the shrine of the Hindu Goddess Kali at Sarn Prakarn Temple. You will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and continue towards Phitsanuloke. Accommodation at Topland Hotel or similar

Phitsanulok – Sukhothai – Sri Satchanalai – Lampang (B/L/-)

Phitsanulok – Sukhothai – Sri Satchanalai – Lampang (B/L/-) After breakfast, you will proceed to Sukhothai, the first capital province of the Thai Kingdom, dating back to the 13th century. Old Sukhothai is one of Asia’s most important historical sites and has been recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991. You will then visit the temples of Wat Sra Sri and Wat Sri Chum before continuing towards Sri Satchanalai, the former sister town of Sukhothai. After enjoying lunch there, you will get a chance to discover some of the city’s most interesting temples and ruins. After that, you will continue further up North towards Lampang. Day 3
Lampang – Lamphun – Chiang Mai (B/L/D)

Lampang – Lamphun – Chiang Mai (B/L/D) After breakfast, you will visit some of the most beautiful landmarks of Lampang, including the stunning Wat Phra Dhat Lampang Luang and Wat Phra Keo Don Tao. We will then make our way to Lamphun, where the beautiful Wat Haripoonchai Burmese Style temple stands. You will finally reach Chiang Mai where we can have lunch. From there, you will drive to the holy mountain temple Wat Phra Dhat Doi Suthep for an afternoon visit before heading towards the hotel. In the evening, experience a colorful Khantoke dinner. You will then discover the beauty of the nearby orchid & butterfly farm before enjoying a well-deserved local lunch.
