Day 2

Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Mekong River, where you can observe the daily life of local communities and visit traditional workshops producing local specialties. Continue your journey on a smaller boat through narrow canals shaded by coconut palms, offering a closer look at the peaceful rural landscape. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional dishes. In the afternoon, visit local villages and fruit orchards, where you can learn more about the lifestyle and culture of the people in the delta. Then, visit the nearby Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica (outside only) of Saigon and the Saigon Central Post Office, both outstanding examples of French colonial architecture. After the tour, guests will transfer to the airport for a flight to Da Nang. Later, guests will transfer to the airport (without a guide) for a flight to Da Nang. Day 4

Upon arrival, they will take a world-class cable car ride up the mountain, enjoying spectacular panoramic views of dense forests, waterfalls, and the coastline along the way. At the summit, guests will visit the iconic Golden Bridge, a unique architectural landmark supported by giant stone hands, perfect for photos. The tour continues to the French Village, where guests can stroll along cobblestone streets, admire European-style buildings, and experience a lively atmosphere with shops and cafés. They will also have time to visit Le Jardin D’Amour flower gardens and spiritual sites such as Linh Ung Pagoda. Lunch will be served at a buffet restaurant on the mountain. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy free time at Fantasy Park for indoor games and entertainment or simply relax in the cool mountain climate. Hoi An known then as ‘Faifo’, was a prosperous trading port, attracting Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish ships amongst others. Today, this World Heritage ancient town is recognised for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-only streets and distinctive local cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past. Hoi An’s narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour of its many atmospheric sights including: old merchant houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters across the stream; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with its intricate woodcarvings; and the colourful market with stalls brimming with local specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two before transfer to Danang airport for your flight to Hanoi (no guide escort).     HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L) In the afternoon, the journey continues with a visit to Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070. This historic site is dedicated to Confucius and honors generations of scholars, featuring peaceful courtyards, ancient stelae, and well-preserved traditional architecture that reflects Vietnam’s long-standing educational heritage. Next, guests will visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, beautifully located on the edge of West Lake. As the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, it offers a serene atmosphere and scenic surroundings, making it a perfect place for relaxation and photography. The tour then continues to Hoan Kiem Lake, a picturesque lake in the heart of the city, where guests can enjoy a leisurely walk and learn about the legend of the returned sword. Afterwards, guests will explore the nearby Hanoi Old Quarter, also known as the “36 Streets,” famous for its narrow alleys, traditional shop houses, and vibrant local life. To conclude the day, guests will enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride through the Old Quarter, offering a unique perspective of the bustling streets, colonial architecture, and everyday activities of Hanoi. The cruise then sets sail into the bay, offering stunning views of the seascape. Throughout the day, guests will participate in various onboard activities or simply relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
