PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP (B/L/D) After breakfast, you will be greeted and transferred to your accommodation upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport. Then you'll travel to Angkor Thom (12th century), visit the South Gate, Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King), and the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat. The temple complex. The five towers of Angkor Wat depict Meru's five summits, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the world's edge, and the encircling moat represents the ocean beyond. Watch the sunset from Phnom Bakheng (one of two hills overlooking the Angkor plain), from which you will enjoy a wonderful view of West Baray and Angkor Wat. Overnight in Siem Reap. SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (B) Have breakfast at the hotel, continue your temple visits to Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths"), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corners by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation), and Pre Rup's "Mountain Temple." You'll transfer to the archaeological site in the afternoon to finish your temple visit. You'll visit Ta Prohm (one of the area's most stunning temples), which has remained virtually intact since its discovery. Then you'll go to the temples of Takeo, Thommanon, and Chau Say Tevoda. After that, you'll be transferred to Siem Reap Airport for your flight to your next destination.
