Cultural Highlights Tour of Vietnam: 16 Days and 15 Nights

ARRIVAL HANOI (D) Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in the center of the capital Hanoi. Have the afternoon at your leisure before a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. You'll then stay overnight in Hanoi.

HANOI CITY TOUR (B/L) Start your city tour to Hanoi by visiting first the Ho Chi Minh complex and the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam. In the afternoon, you will visit the Ethnology Museum, dedicated to 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam, and drive to Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son temple, go around the Old Quarter for shopping. After dinner, you have an option to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show which is traditional feature of Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi

HANOI – HALONG BAY CRUISE (B/L/D) Today you will leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. Welcome on board and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay. Swim on a quiet beach or lie on the sundeck. Visit an interesting fishing village and meet fishermen here. At sunset, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a wonderful water tunnel. Back on board. Enjoy cocktails while savoring the sunset, and later unwind at the restaurant. You can also join some evening activities. Overnight on board

HALONG BAY – HANOI (B) Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Checkout. The boat arrives at the harbor by noon for the drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

HANOI – LUANG PRABANG (B) You will take a flight to Luang Prabang, which is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. On arrival at the Luang Prabang airport, you will be met and transferred to check in the hotel. There are no activities planned for today, so you may stroll around for the first impression of this ancient city. Overnight in Luang Prabang

LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVE (B) After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum, then embark on a leisure cruise upstream to reach the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. Stop at the local wine-making village of Ban Xanghai. Visit next the old Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, Ban Xangkhong, Thai Lue village, Ban Xienglek village. Late afternoon, stop at Wat Prabath to admire the sunset and join Night Market. Overnight in Luang Pang

LUANG PRABANG – VIENTIANE (B) Wake up as the sun rises to join the most sacred tradition of Laos: the daily morning alms giving. After breakfast, you have free time at leisure before taking flight to Vientiane. Today, you’ll visit the major sights of the capital: Wat Si Saket, Wat Ho Prakeo, That Luang Stupa. Have time to take photos with the “Arc de Triumph” of Vientiane – Patuxay Monument. Overnight in Vientiane

PHNOM PENH (B) Today is for the loveliest city of Indochina. Visiting some major spots of Phnom Penh: Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom, National Museum. In the afternoon, visit the notorious Toul Sleng Museum. The rest of the day, explore the Central Market, Toul Tompong Market and learn about bustling daily local life here. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP & ANGKOR WAT (B) The morning we take flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you’ll start your trip by visiting the World Heritage Site – Angkor Wat. From the South Gate of Angkor Thom to the magnificent Bayon temple, you will also observe the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy sunset view from Bakheng Hill. Overnight in Siem Reap.

ANGKOR WAT (B/D) We will visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon temple, Banteay Srei temple and Banteay Samre. We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm, Pre Rup, East Mebon, Krovan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei and Ta Keo. Dinner and enjoy watching Khmer Folk of charming Apsara dance show at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap

SIEM REAP – HCMC (B) Breakfast at hotel. Today you will be free at leisure or visit additional sightseeing if the time permits. Back to the hotel to prepare for the flight to HCMC. Overnight in HCMC

HCMC TOUR (B/L) Today, you’ll embark on a full-day city tour of Saigon. This city tour will take you to famous sites including the Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall, the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, colorful Chinatown and bustling Binh Tay Market. You will have an overnight stay in HCMC.

CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L) In the morning, you’ll head to Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the vast network of underground passages during the Vietnam War. Currently, the remaining tunnels have become an extremely attractive point for all tourists, giving you a unique experience, such as being able to feel the underground life of ancient heroes. Afternoon is free time for your personal discovery and you will have one more overnight stay in HCMC.
