Itinerary

Swim with Nature: Get up-close to playful Dolphins while exploring Zanzibar’s vibrant Coral Reefs.

Your adventure begins in the traditional fishing Village Of Kizimkazi, where the day starts with the soft glow of sunrise and the sight of local fishermen preparing their wooden boats along the shore. After a short briefing, you board a motorboat and head out into the Indian Ocean, passing the scenic coastline as the village slowly fades behind you. These waters are home to several BottleNose Dolphin that remain in the area year-round. The trip departs very early because as the sun climbs higher and the sea temperature rises, dolphins often dive deeper to escape the heat, making sightings less likely later in the day.

Once offshore, the captain navigates carefully while scanning the horizon for signs of movement. When dolphins are spotted, the boat approaches slowly and respectfully, giving you the opportunity to observe them in their Natural Habitat. Although dolphin spotting is a popular activity, sightings can never be guaranteed, and actually swimming alongside them is a rare and special occurrence that requires time, patience, and the right conditions. The excursion lasts approximately two to three hours and may also include snorkeling in the clear turquoise waters. After returning to shore, you can continue exploring the village, relax by the beach, or immerse yourself in the local coastal atmosphere, completing a memorable and authentic Zanzibar Experience.
