Meet at SAMURAI HONOR

[Important] To Those Interested in the Real Sword Cutting Experience

The Samurai Spirit and Safety Guidelines

1. The Nature of the Japanese Sword and Its Hidden Dangers
The Japanese sword is a traditional work of art that has been revered since ancient times as the "soul of the samurai," but it is also a "real weapon" of extreme sharpness capable of taking a life with a single strike.
The act of handling a real sword and cutting an object always carries a significant risk of serious injury or accident. If the blade’s trajectory deviates even slightly, you may endanger not only yourself but also those around you. Please first and foremost be fully aware that its sharpness and destructive power are by no means something to be taken lightly as mere entertainment.
II. The Spirit of Bushido and the Weight of “Drawing the Sword”
The samurai of old strictly forbade drawing their swords without good reason. Drawing a sword was an expression of “unwavering resolve”—a commitment to stake one’s own life and take full responsibility for the consequences of the blade’s action.
Our test-cutting experience is not merely a tourist activity, but a solemn occasion for you to experience the “spirit of Bushido”—the discipline of the mind achieved by confronting the sword. Those who handle swords are required to possess a high level of spiritual discipline—the ability to control oneself—even more than technical skill.
3. Important Requests Regarding Skill and Mindset
To prioritize your safety and preserve the dignity of Japan’s traditional culture, we have established the following strict standards regarding the handling of real swords.

[Restrictions Regarding Live Sword Cutting]
During the preliminary basic training (stances, practice swings, and safety briefing), if an instructor determines that you lack the skill to handle a live sword safely or the proper mindset (such as a lack of concentration or a lack of sincerity), we may refuse to allow you to participate in the live sword cutting.

In such cases, for safety reasons, we will switch to instruction using mock swords or wooden swords. While this may result in us being unable to meet the expectations of those who have taken the trouble to visit us, we ask for your deep understanding that this decision is made to prevent life-threatening accidents before they occur.
In Closing
We wholeheartedly welcome those who understand the weight of a real sword and are prepared to confront their own hearts.
We, too, will welcome you with the courtesy of a samurai and a comprehensive support system. Please experience the true “breath of the samurai” amidst a dignified sense of tension.

Awaken Your Inner Samurai — The Ultimate Slashing Challenge

“For a samurai, training never ends. The path of training continues until death.”

“Tameshigiri” is a practice once performed by Japanese samurai to hone their skills and spirit. This add-on option, which allows you to delve even deeper into its essence, is overwhelmingly popular among foreign travelers.
In this plan, we provide three additional rolled straw mats. Hold a real katana, exhale deeply, and in the stillness, bring the blade down in one swift stroke—. Facing these three targets, your concentration and courage will be tested to the absolute limit. The sensation left in your hand the moment you make a clean cut, and the sound of the blade slicing through the air, will be an intense thrill you’ll never forget.
[No Worries for Beginners: The “Bushido” System That Turns Failure into Growth]
There’s no need to worry about “What if I can’t cut it properly?” Bushido is also the path of learning from failure and improving oneself.
If you do not s쳮d on your first attempt, this option automatically shifts from a simple challenge to a “Special Cutting Training Session with a Master Instructor (Masterclass).”
The instructor will reset the straw rolls one by one, and through a total of three cuts, provide thorough, hands-on guidance on your posture, grip, and sword trajectory. This is not mere entertainment; it is a special program that allows you to take home not only the skills to handle a Japanese sword but also genuine “growth in swordsmanship.”
It is a genuine Samurai Experience where mind, technique, and body become one—not just swinging a sword.
Let’s awaken the samurai spirit that lies dormant within you with this real sword.
