Day 3

Great Tuskers Elephant Watch Safari
  • Day 1: Nairobi

    Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli

    Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel to the Amboseli National Reserve at the foot of snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Arrive in time for lunch. The afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or a tented camp.

    Day 2: Amboseli (Full day)

    Spend the full day in the park exploring the abundance of wildlife here. This wide expanse of savannah and swampland includes (the generally dry) Lake Amboseli and the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. But the crowds of elephants are Amboseli’s biggest draw. Head to Observation Hill for an amazing view of these incredible creatures. The early mornings and late evenings are the best time to see the elephants. You will also have the chance to visit with the Maasai people. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge.Day 3: Amboseli - NairobiPre-breakfast game drive, after late breakfast, depart for Nairobi or Mombasa with a game drive en route arriving late afternoon.
