Exploring the diverse landscapes and rich cultures of Yunnan with friends was an unforgettable experience. We particularly loved our stay in cozy accommodations that felt like home, especially in Dali where local art and food added to the charm. While the itinerary was well-planned, a bit more downtime to soak in the atmosphere of Lijiang would have made it even better.

We had an incredible time immersing ourselves in the vibrant culture and beautiful scenery on this week-long journey. Each day brought something new, whether it was savoring local dishes like the delicious rice noodles or wandering through ancient streets filled with history. One of our favorite moments was sharing a meal with locals who welcomed us into their home, which truly highlighted the warmth of the community. Although the pace was generally well-balanced, we found ourselves wishing for a bit more free time to explore the markets and shops in the charming towns. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, adding depth to our experience as we moved from one breathtaking spot to the next. Overall, this adventure was a delightful blend of relaxation and exploration, and we left with wonderful memories.

Our family had an unforgettable week discovering the vibrant culture and stunning scenery of Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang. Each night, we settled into cozy accommodations that made us feel right at home as we recounted the day’s adventures, from wandering through the ancient streets of Lijiang to enjoying the serene beauty of Dali’s lakes. One small suggestion would be to include a bit more free time for the kids to explore the local markets, but overall, this journey through Yunnan was truly a delightful experience for all of us!
