We were pleasantly surprised by how vibrant the marine life was during our trip to see the whales and dolphins off the coast. While watching a pod of playful dolphins was a highlight, the boat’s space felt a bit cramped at times, especially when everyone was trying to get the perfect view. One standout moment was spotting a majestic blue whale; it truly was a breathtaking experience that exceeded our expectations. The crew was knowledgeable and kept us informed about what to look out for, which added to the overall enjoyment. Although the lengthy travel time to Mirissa from Bentota tested our patience a tad, the thrill of the ocean made it worthwhile. Overall, we walked away with some unforgettable memories of the day.
