Wandering through Lima’s colonial architecture was a highlight for our family, especially when we reached the eerie catacombs beneath the San Francisco Monastery. While the tour was informative and visually captivating, we found the pace a bit rushed at times, making it hard to soak in all the details.

We had a fantastic time delving into the catacombs and admiring the stunning colonial architecture on our walking tour. One small hiccup was the slightly cramped transportation to get there, but once we started the tour, all of that faded away as we soaked in the history surrounding us.

Exploring the historic parts of the city left us in awe of the stunning colonial architecture and rich history around every corner. We particularly enjoyed venturing down into the catacombs, which offered an eerie yet fascinating glimpse into the past. The guide was knowledgeable and kept us engaged, but at times, it felt a bit rushed, especially when we wanted to soak in the atmosphere a little longer. Overall, it was a fantastic way to spend an afternoon with friends, and we walked away with some great stories to share. Just be prepared for some uneven streets if you’re not a fan of walking!
