We set off on a charming lagoon cruise that whisked us away to the colorful islands of Murano and Burano, both of which were even more vibrant than we imagined. Watching a master glassblower at work was a highlight for us; it was fascinating to see how molten glass transformed into beautiful art pieces right before our eyes. While exploring Burano’s picturesque streets, we enjoyed wandering among the candy-colored houses and tried some amazing seafood at a little café. One small drawback was that the time on each island felt a bit rushed, making it hard to soak in all the beauty. However, the scenic boat ride and the captivating atmosphere made up for it. Overall, it was a delightful way to experience a slice of Venetian life, and we definitely left with great memories and a few souvenirs in tow. We’d recommend it for any family looking to explore the magic of this part of Italy!
