We begin our journey of the infamous floating city just outside of San Marco’s square, where we’ll give a brief introduction.

We’ll then lead you through alleyways, over the canals, and guide you to the world-famous Rialto Bridge for stunning views of the city.

Along the route, you’ll learn about the Venetian way of life and how this island community came to be such an iconic stop for all world travelers. 

Your guide will give you some insight into the history of Venice and explain some of the nuances that make the Island community so majestic!

Stage 1

The Rialto Bridge is the oldest of the four bridges spanning the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. Connecting the sestieri of San Marco and San Polo, it has been rebuilt several times since its first construction as a pontoon bridge in 1173, and is now a significant tourist attraction in the city.
