Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong

Located in southern Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui is a very popular area in Hong Kong known as the paradise of shoppers because of its fantastic shops and restaurants.

Located in the south of the Kowloon Peninsula alongside Victoria Har, Tsim Sha Tsui (often known as TST an urban area) is a must-see for tourists of Hong Kong. You can be sure that joy and fun are never out of style here. Imagine that there is a place, which has sleepless nights, various shopping malls, views of the Victoria Harbor and Hong Kong City as well as the skyscrapers, beautiful walks, cultural attractions, hotels, etc. It’s all about being loud, alive, and joyful here.

Tsim Sha Tsui – A World-Class Shopping Destination

Do you enjoy shopping sprees? Then Tsim Sha Tsui is the shopping paradise you look for. Indeed, no matter if you are interested in casual boutiques, outlets, or luxury shops, there are always offers here you can’t refuse. Also, shopping in such an alive, dynamic, and energetic atmosphere is precious in itself.

There are two main walks within the district called Nathan Road (also known as Golden Mile) and Canton Road that fascinate you with all the lights and variety of shops. In fact, when you walk along those roads, you’ll see everything from Chanel, Fendi, and  Gucci to electronic goods and enormous shopping malls.

Harbor City

This is the largest and most popular shopping mall in Tsim Sha Tsui, which houses more than 450 shops, 50 food and beverage spots, two cinemas, and several hotels as well. In conclusion, this is the complete shopping package you shall try visiting.

It’s not just an ordinary mall, it’s an art mall! It meant that in addition to selling fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products in K11, there are art exhibitions and related events happening here throughout the year. Also, there are artistic elements and installations all over the place to add the spirit of art to the atmosphere! For sure this is a unique shopping experience.

Heritage 1881

Heritage 1881 used to be the Former Marine Police Headquarters Compound; however, it is now a luxury shopping and leisure spot in Tsim Sha Tsui. Here, the main focus of shops is on luxury watches, jewelry, and Leather Products.

Grandville Road

The outlet shops with dramatically discounted prices are located here. Interestingly, you can buy globally known fashion brands for very reasonable prices on Grandville Road.

What are the attractions?

There is so much going on in Tsim Sha Tsui that you will have more than enough fun.

Tsim Sha Tsui Nightlife

In Tsim Sha Tsui, when the sun sets and the sky gets dark, another overwhelming phase of life starts. The nights are sleepless and restless here. Why? Because most of the bars and clubs are open until 7:00 am and you can’t notice how fast the night goes by. Imagine you can experience Arabian nights with a hookah joint or you can keep it western by drinking mojitos and beers. So let’s say it this way; the lights never go down in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Star Ferry Pier

The Star Ferry Pier is located on the Kowloon Peninsula and it’s one of the most important landmarks in Tsim Sha Tsui District. Passengers can travel between Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula by the star ferries, which have been the favorite tradition of visitors since the 1880s. Nowadays, new transportation facilities are provided for the harbor area, but people still like to ride the old school-type ferries. If you like to relax and enjoy the cool breeze of the sea, then don’t wait for too much and just get on the deck.

Kowloon Park

Kowloon Park is known as the green lung of Hong Kong. This park is located in the center of Tsim Sha Tsui and the area is about 13.5 hectares (33 acres). It might be interesting to let you know that there is a wide range of plants and birds in the park which makes the area look like paradise. Also, there are spectacular spots in Kowloon Park such as the Maze Garden, Color Garden, Chinese Garden, Roof Gardens, Banyan Court, and Bird Lake.

There are areas that are preserved for entertainment and sports activities like a children’s playground, fitness trail, Sculpture Walk & Sculpture Garden, a piazza, an aviary, a mini soccer pitch, and a giant pool. Children and teenagers will love this place because they can run, play, and move around freely and adults would be fascinated by the scenic areas of Kowloon Park.

Avenue of the Stars

You will experience one of the most memorable walks in this area. The Avenue of the Stars is located next to the wonderful Victoria Harbor. Can you imagine how does it feel to walk on the ground which has memorabilia of movie stars (from the Hong Kong movie industry) while inhaling the cool breeze of the sea? We assure you that’s a very joyful experience.
