This former brewing complex, which once housed the production of some of Malta's most beloved brands, has been transformed into a vibrant and dynamic hub, offering a wide range of functional and recreational spaces.
Different areas throughout The Brewhouse, such as the Malt Stores, Open Vats, Chapels, and Coppers, all have their own unique story to tell and collectively create a one-of-a-kind environment.
Visitors are invited to explore the newly revitalised 1950 Farsons Brewery in Birkirkara, where they can embark on a self-guided tour to gain a deeper understanding of the history and brewing process of Malta's premier brewery. This unique experience goes beyond the brand itself, revealing the captivating story of three entrepreneurial families who collaborated to become the islands' leading brewers. Through this tour, visitors will uncover the fascinating tale of how these families came together to create a legacy that has endured for generations.
As part of the experience, guests will have the opportunity to sample a range of freshly brewed beers at The Cisk Tap, located on the rooftop of the brewery, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.
After the audio-guided tour (which takes approximately 45–60 minutes), check out the souvenir shop at the Farsons Brandstore and enjoy some delicious food and beer at the various eateries located within The Brewhouse.
Round-trip transfers from your accommodation or a close meeting point to your accommodation are also included in the price.

We had such a blast diving into the world of local breweries with our self-guided tour and tasting adventure. The variety of beers available was impressive, and we really appreciated the detailed descriptions that helped us savor each sip. One of the highlights for us was discovering a unique brew infused with local spices—it was a delightful surprise! While the tasting could have used a bit more guidance, we still enjoyed the freedom to explore at our own pace. Overall, it was a fun way to spend an afternoon with friends, and we walked away with some new favorites to share back home.

As a solo traveler, I was eager to dive into the local beer scene, and this self-guided experience delivered just that. It was nice to wander at my own pace, soaking in the atmosphere of the brewery while sampling some unique brews that I wouldn’t find back home. I took public transport to get there, which was straightforward, but I felt a bit rushed to fit everything into the 2.5 hours. The different flavors were intriguing, though I wish there had been a little more information about each beer. Overall, it was a delightful way to spend an afternoon, and I left with a few new favorites.
