Driving through Sicily was a grand adventure that offered stunning landscapes and a rich tapestry of history around every corner. I particularly loved staying in charming accommodations that added to the local experience, especially in Palermo where the vibe was vibrant. We absolutely loved the stunning landscapes and rich history we uncovered during our self-drive adventure, where every turn in the road revealed something new and breathtaking. While the itinerary was generally well-planned, we did find a couple of longer driving stretches a bit tiresome, but the vibrant overnight experiences more than made up for it.
