Our adventure starts at Alkyonidos beach, at 10.30am. Certified guides will give a short lesson on the beach, on the proper use of paddles and kayaks at sea. Then we are ready to go to sea and start our adventure.
We will paddle for about half an hour until we reach the wonderful, quiet beach, the small Strava. Free time for relaxing on the beach and for swimming.
Then we continue our journey, to reach after about 15 minutes a magical place where the locals call it "the seal cave", one of the purest and untouched places of the Corinthian. It is a rocky formation, a natural arch above the turquoise waters of the sea. Entering the arch, there is a cave that inside houses a magnificent beach with fine, white pebbles.
We continue paddling observing interesting geological formations from the rocks and passing various caves to reach X beach. This is only accessible by sea. It has incredible waters, ideal for diving and swimming. Here we take our break and eat our snack.
After swimming and resting, we start our return. We will stop at the cave of Fokia for one last swim, and we will end up at the beach of Alkyonidos, where we started.

Our time kayaking in the Corinthian Gulf was an unexpected highlight of our trip, allowing us to escape the usual hustle of Athens. Paddling alongside the stunning cliffs and spotting the occasional sea turtle made for a refreshing experience. However, we did find the initial instructions a bit rushed, which left some of us feeling a tad unprepared. The serene atmosphere in Psatha, combined with the vibrant blues of the sea, truly made it worthwhile. Overall, it was a memorable way to spend a morning and reconnect with nature.

We had a fantastic afternoon paddling through the serene waters of the Corinthian Gulf, which was even more beautiful than we anticipated. Getting to Psatha from Athens was straightforward, and the coastal drive offered lovely views that set the stage for our adventure. While the kayak experience was thrilling, we did wish that there had been a bit more guidance on paddling techniques for beginners like us.
