Angra dos Reis is a paradise on the coast of Rio de Janeiro that offers several options for entertainment and enjoyment of nature. This schooner trip allows us to visit four of the main beaches in the region in just one day.
The departure is from Santa Luzia Station, in the center of Angra, where the groups board the schooner daily. During the tour, stops are made at four beaches, with enough time to enjoy each one. The first is still in the bay of Angra, on the Island of Cataguás, formed by two small islands surrounded by white sand and without waves.
The other three stops are on Ilha Grande: Lagoa Azul, Praia da Freguesia de Santana and Japariz. The first is perfect for snorkeling as it is a natural aquarium and where we can observe marine fauna. The second is small and cozy, great for those looking for a good place to rest. Our last stop is at Praia de Japariz, a beach with more tourist infrastructure, which has restaurants and restrooms.

We had a memorable day cruising around the stunning beaches near Angra dos Reis on a charming schooner. The experience of hopping between the beaches was fantastic, allowing us to explore each one at our own pace, although the time at each stop felt a bit short. While the crew was friendly, the transportation to the starting point was a bit cramped, but the scenic views quickly made us forget that little hiccup.

We joined a schooner tour that took us around some of the most beautiful beaches in Angra dos Reis in Brazil, and we were truly impressed by the scenery. The highlight for us was stopping at Praia do Dentista, where the water was crystal clear and perfect for a swim. While the crew was generally nice, we found the lunch provided to be a bit lackluster compared to the breathtaking views we enjoyed all day. It was a great way to spend six hours soaking in the sun and exploring hidden coves, but the number of boats at some stops made it feel a bit touristy at times. Overall, it was a lovely day filled with stunning sights and memorable moments.

Exploring the stunning beaches of Angra dos Reis in Brazil was an unforgettable family adventure. We loved the sense of freedom as we sailed on the schooner, allowing us to soak up the sun and jump into crystal-clear waters at each stop. The only downside was that some of the beaches felt a bit crowded, but the breathtaking views made up for it!
