Drive towards the scenic coastal road of Athens to the magnificent structure of the Corinth Canal, the southern peninsula of Greece.
The driver will take you to Nafplio and visit Mycenae and Epidaurus the way world heritage-listed Mycenae is one of the most ancient places in Europe.
Mycenae is considered the greatest and richest kingdom of the later Bronze Age around 1350 B.C. Walk around the archaeological park, pass through the great Lionesses Gate, explore the Ancient Treasure of Atreus also known as King’s Agamemnon Tomb as well as the Tomb of Clytemnestra.
Epidaurus was famed and revered far and wide for centuries. The theatre is perhaps the best-preserved theatre of ancient Greece. Epidaurus was a sanatorium, connected intensively with the Asclepeion healing temples.
Nafplio, is the town where Greece meets Italy. Built with stepped streets overhung with balconies dripping bougainvillea, handsome neoclassical buildings, and enticing shops and restaurants.

Our recent private tour was a fantastic way to dive into the heart of ancient Greece. We particularly loved roaming around Mycenae, where the grand architecture and rich history left us in awe. The drive to Nafplio was equally enchanting, with stunning views that made for great conversation. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing insights that truly brought the stories of Epidaurus to life. If there’s one thing we’d suggest, it would be to allow a bit more time to soak in the atmosphere at each site; it felt a bit rushed at times. Overall, a well-organized experience that we’d recommend to fellow travelers looking to explore these remarkable locations!
