Go inside the excavated remains of the Byzantine church that once graced the hilltop. Here, archaeologists have uncovered a series of floor mosaics dating from between the 4th and 6th century A.D. From the moment we were picked up in our comfortable vehicle, we knew we were in for an enriching experience. Our guide shared fascinating stories about the significant events that occurred at the baptism site, making us feel connected to the culture in a profound way. Strolling through the town, we were captivated by the stunning mosaics, each telling its own story, and we couldn’t resist asking our guide endless questions.
Climbing to the summit provided us with breathtaking views, and standing there together felt incredibly special. One minor downside was the slight rush we felt at some stops; we would have loved to linger longer at a few spots. Still, the seamless transportation made moving from site to site a breeze, allowing us to soak in the history and beauty effortlessly. Overall, it was a memorable day filled with highlights that we’ll cherish for years to come.

Exploring the intricate mosaics of Madaba was a highlight, showcasing a rich tapestry of history that truly captivated us. While the private tour provided us with an intimate experience, we felt a bit rushed at the Baptism Site; a little more time to soak in the atmosphere would have been perfect.

We had a fantastic time visiting the baptism site and admiring the stunning mosaics in Madaba. Our driver was friendly, but the transportation could have been a bit more comfortable, especially on the way to Mount Nebo.
