The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum
The Ernest HemingwayThe Ernest Hemingway House was the residence of American writer Ernest Hemingway in the 1930s. The house is situated on the island of Key West, Florida. It is at 907 Whitehead Street, across from the Key West Lighthouse, close to the southern coast of the island. It is also famous for its large population of so-called Hemingway cats, many of which are polydactyl. Home and Museum

    Smathers Beach
Lap up the sunshine and score a golden tan at Key West’s largest public beach. The crystalline waters, palm-lined shores, and clear blue skies are all you need for a relaxing beach vacation. But if you’re up for some beach activities, there are beach volleyball nets, jet skis and paddleboard rentals available. Couples can opt for a romantic catamaran cruise while families with young kids can enjoy a splashing good time in the shallow waters.

You can visit Smathers Beach any time of the year, but it gets particularly busy between March and April, when the spring break crowd rolls in.

    Southernmost Point
The Southernmost Point Buoy is an anchored concrete buoy in Key West, Florida, marking the southernmost point in the continental United States, the lowest latitude land of contiguous North American states. It is 18 feet above sea level. The large painted buoy was established as a tourist attraction in 1983 by the city at the corner of South Street and Whitehead Street.

Key West Museum of Art & History at the Custom House
Towering over Mallory’s historic seaport, the Key West Museum of Art & History at the Custom House is as stunning a sight to visitors today as it was when it opened in 1891.
It has been faithfully restored and stands on the harbor as a national landmark, an award-winning museum and official headquarters of the Key West Art & Historical Society. Experience two floors of exhibitions that weave together two centuries of history, art, people, and events

We had an amazing day exploring the scenic routes and relaxing on beautiful beaches with our small group. The drive was breathtaking, with picturesque views that kept us snapping photos at almost every turn, and we loved how our guide shared insights into the local culture and history. One of the highlights was stopping at a secluded beach where we could unwind while soaking up the sun and chatting with each other.

If we had to mention a couple of drawbacks, it would be that some of the stops felt a bit rushed and we wished we had more time to enjoy the last beach. Nonetheless, the overall experience was memorable, and we left with great stories and a few new friends from our group.
