Angkor Temples
Angkor Wat , Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm Temple, Baphuon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Phnom Bakheng (Bakheng Hill)

The Preah Ang Chek Preah Ang Chorm shrine is a religious shrine in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It is located within the compound of the Royal Residence where two statues referred to as Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chorm are worshipped since 1982

It brings together a collection of stalls that usually sell goods such as fruit, vegetables, snacks, toys, clothes, movie discs and ornaments at cheap or at least reasonable prices.

Phsar Leu is the biggest market in Siem Reap, and likely the most authentic. It is located on National Road 6, on the way to Phnom Penh, about 3km from the center. Usually crowded on the outside, it attracts mostly locals looking for the cheapest prices.

This market for close to a year. I enjoyed starting my mornings off with an easy stroll to this market to get some donuts and some hot Cambodia breakfast. I routinely bought my household goods, groceries, clothing, and killed time at this market place. I made new friends and saved a lot of money by shopping here in the long run. There’s a really cool car park on the top of the market, with stalls that provide seamstress and tailoring services, salon and barber shops as well as cold drinks, and sometimes food.

Wat Bo Pagoda is one of the oldest pagodas in Siem Reap, Cambodia and has a number of well-preserved wall paintings from the 19th century. Although it is a Buddhist temple some of the wall paintings describe the famous ancient love story of Rama and Shita, the strongest man and the most beautiful women of all times.

Waking up early for the stunning sunrise at Angkor Wat was one of the highlights of my trip. Riding through the serene morning air in a tuk-tuk, I felt more connected to the landscape than I would have on a larger tour. The local markets were vibrant and filled with unique crafts, though I wished I had a bit more time to explore them. Watching the sunset over the ancient ruins was simply magical—an unforgettable way to end my day. Overall, this private tour offered a fantastic blend of history, culture, and stunning scenery, even if I would have loved to linger a bit longer in the markets.

Experiencing the ancient temples at sunrise was unforgettable, and riding through Krong Siem Reap in our tuk-tuk added a fun twist to the adventure. Our visit to the local markets provided a vibrant glimpse into daily life, although we found the time a bit rushed during the sunset at the wat.

From the moment we hopped on the tuk-tuk, we felt the excitement of exploring Krong Siem Reap in Cambodia. The early morning light as we approached Angkor Wat was breathtaking, and we loved learning about the local culture from our guide while weaving through the bustling markets. The private experience allowed us to soak in every detail, but we did find ourselves wishing for a bit more time to wander through the local stalls. We enjoyed the serenity of watching the sun dip behind the temples, creating a perfect end to our adventure. Overall, this tour delivered an enriching experience, blending history with vibrant local life.
