Our day started with a leisurely trek through stunning natural landscapes, where we marveled at the remnants of a bygone civilization. The highlight for us was definitely the enchanting moment we spent watching elephants roam freely in their habitat, a sight that took our breath away. While the guided commentary was informative, it sometimes felt a bit rushed, leaving us wanting to linger a little longer at certain ancient sites.

Exploring the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa was a breathtaking experience, especially standing before the remarkable Gal Vihara. While I was captivated by the majestic elephants roaming nearby, the heat became a bit overwhelming at times, making the day feel longer than expected.

We had an amazing day filled with rich history and breathtaking views. The ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa were fascinating, and the sight of elephants in their natural habitat was unforgettable. However, the transportation between sites could have been more comfortable; a little extra legroom would have made it perfect.
