Phnom Penh Culinary Delights Tour ON REQUEST

After hotel pickup, your introduction to the art of Khmer cuisine starts with a guided tour of the local food market, where your chef describes the Cambodian fruits, vegetables, and spices on display. 

Marvel at the vast array of colors, smells, and tastes for sale, from the ubiquitous, smelly fish sauce to sweet, fragrant mango. Then you'll be picked up by tuk-tuk to ride to the cooking school for your exploration into the secrets of traditional food preparation. With the guidance from your chef, observe and then practice Khmer cuisine techniques creating your own dishes for lunch. After enjoying your freshly prepared meal, put on your apron again to make an authentic Khmer dessert, and learn decorative fruit and vegetable carving. All in all, you'll make four Khmer dishes. (The course can be adjusted for vegetarians.)

At the end of the cooking course, receive a recipe book for further exploration of Khmer cuisine. Tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
