Trekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier was an unforgettable experience that really showcased the beauty of the ice formations. We were picked up early from our hotel in El Calafate and the ride was smooth, offering great views along the way. A highlight was standing on the massive ice with its deep blue crevasses while listening to the thunderous sounds of ice calving into the lake, although the long day left us pretty tired by the end.

Our day exploring the immense icy expanses was genuinely remarkable. The trek over the glacier offered breathtaking views with every step, especially when we reached a lookout point that showcased the vibrant blue crevices shimmering in the sunlight. While the experience was mostly smooth, we did find some parts of the hike a bit strenuous, especially for those of us who don’t often engage in outdoor activities. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, doing a great job of keeping the group motivated and informed. However, the lunch break felt a tad rushed, leaving us wanting a bit more time to relax and savor the moment. Overall, this adventure left a lasting impression, and we would recommend it for anyone seeking a unique outdoor experience.
