Even if you buy Cypriot wine in a store, you won’t be able to feel its real taste as you can on our wine tour. A wine tour in Cyprus is a must-do experience for anyone who loves wine and wants to touch the rich history and culture of the island. Cyprus has been producing wine for thousands of years, and its unique terroir and indigenous grape varieties have given rise to some truly exceptional wines. Cyprus has several wine regions, each with its distinctive character and style. We are happy to introduce you to our original wine tour around the Paphos district, which will give you a chance to explore the extensive winemaking heritage, taste a variety of local wines, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding countryside.
Our first stop will be in Sterna's family-run winery. It is located in the heart of Kathikas village. Here you can taste local red, white and rose wine.
On our route, we will visit one of the picturesque and unique beauty villages in the Paphos region - Amargeti. The village is nestled amidst the rolling hills and lush greenery area, providing visitors with a tranquil and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Amargeti village has a rich cultural heritage with several historical churches and temples. For those who are interested in learning more about the traditional way of life in Amargeti, the Folklore Museum is a must-visit destination.
In this nice village, we will find also a family-run crafts business by the name of Mastros. Mastro's owners take great pride in their heritage and have created their processing units to bring out the traditional flavours of the products with love, professionalism and craftsmanship. In their units, you will have an opportunity to try several kinds of wine, carob syrups, olive oil and vinegar. It's more than a winery, it's more than a brewery. It's a place with people proud of their family history and the work they do to produce Mastros's range of products.

Our group had an incredible time tasting authentic Cypriot wines at local wineries; the highlight was discovering a small family-owned vineyard where we enjoyed a delightful private tasting. Sharing stories with the owner while savoring a robust red made the experience feel personal and memorable. One suggestion would be to add a bit more time at each stop to truly savor the flavors and soak in the atmosphere.

Exploring the picturesque vineyards near Paphos in Cyprus was an unexpected highlight of our trip. As we traveled from one local winery to another, the stunning countryside views made the journey itself a delight. At one small winery, we savored an exquisite Cypriot red that lingered on our palates, accompanied by the owner’s heartfelt stories about the region’s winemaking traditions. We appreciated how knowledgeable our guide was, sharing insights about the authentic flavors and unique grape varieties indigenous to Cyprus. If we could suggest one improvement, it would be to include a light snack to pair with the wine tastings, as it would enhance the overall experience.

We had an amazing afternoon visiting charming local wineries and sampling authentic Cypriot wines, which truly showcased the region’s rich viticulture. Each stop felt like a little gem, and we particularly loved the cozy family-run place where we learned about the winemaking process while sipping on their delicious blends. The stunning views of the surrounding hills added a beautiful backdrop to our experience, making the whole day feel special. One minor suggestion would be to include a bit more time at each winery to fully savor the tastings and chat with the hosts, but overall, it was a delightful way to immerse ourselves in the local culture.
