Day 1 Lima - Paracas
Pisco Airport
Very early in the morning, we will pick you up from the hotel in Lima, to take you to the bus station, and start the 4 hours’ journey until Pisco’s airport, to live an amazing adventure of 1:30 hours over the mysterious Nazca Lines.
Nazca Lines
During the flight, you will see impressive figures as the monkey, the spider, the Cóndor, and a lot of different drawings on these wonderful pampas.
This amazing geoglyphs were traced by the Nazca culture, a pre-Inca civilization developed between 700 B.C. and 200 A.D. These drawings can be seen by the air, and they are located 280 miles south of the city of Lima. They were first seeing in 1547, and in 1929, the Peruvian archeologist Julio C. Tello started to investigate them. Furthermore, they were declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.
Paracas
After this magical experience, you will be transferred to your hotel in Paracas, to have a well-deserved afternoon rest.
Day 2 Paracas - Lima
Ballestas Islands
After picking you up from your hotel in Paracas, we are going to El Chaco pier, the starting point to sail to Ballestas Islands, which is part of the incredible Paracas National Reserve. These islands are located 30 minutes away from the cost of Paracas, and they are beautiful natural rock formations.
You will enjoy a spectacular sea life, as sea lions and a birds’ diversity all over the place as penguins, pelicans, among others migratory birds. Also, you can admire the famous Candelabrum, a big geoglyph that could belong to the Nazca ancient culture.
Back to Lima
After the visit, we will transfer you to the bus station to back to Lima, and take you to the hotel.

Flying over those ancient geoglyphs was an experience I’ll never forget; the sheer scale of them is mind-boggling. The next day’s boat trip to see the sea lions and birds was a lively contrast, filled with playful wildlife and stunning coastal views. I appreciated the local cuisine, especially the fresh ceviche served during lunch, which brought a delightful taste of the region. However, the early wake-up calls for both days felt a bit rushed, and I wished for more time during the island excursion. Overall, this adventure offered a unique blend of history and nature that made the trip worthwhile.
