Tour Plan

The day tour starts 6:00AM by picking you from your Nairobi Hotel/residence and a short transfer to Nairobi National Park. From there, take an exciting game drive through the park. Stay on the lookout for many species of game animals, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo's, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, as well as countless species of wild birds. The park’s open border on its southeast perimeter allows a corridor for the natural migration of game animals during the seasonal rains. Other attractions include the ivory burning site monument, and walking trails at hippo pools and many more.

You will exit the Nairobi National Park to be taken to the old colonial house of Danish author, Karen Blixen. Now a museum, this property and the surrounding Ngong Hills were made famous in the book and then the movie ‘Out of Africa’. It is a must see for all Danes and lovers of African history and romance.

You will then break for Lunch (own expense) and then start the drive to Bomas of Kenya. The Bomas of Kenya is a cultural centre at Langata, near the main gate to Nairobi National Park. The talented resident artistes perform traditional dances and songs taken from the country's various tribal groups, including Arab-influenced Swahili Taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dances, Embu drumming and Kikuyu circumcision ceremonies. It's touristy, of course, but it's still a spectacular afternoon out.It is a must visit for all visitors

Enjoy advanced reservations to Nairobi’s premier dinner and cultural show, located in stunning Safari Park Hotel. Watch colorful acrobatic performances and listen to live music from local Swahili acts while digging into a traditional Kenyan dinner, with classics like barbecued meat and jacket potatoes.
A Buffet dinner and live musical show in Nairobi’s Safari Park Hotel start 7:00pm to 9pm.
Dinner is served while listening to music from the live band playing local, African, Kenyan, Swahili and country music. At 9 p.m. the show will start until 10PM. (local timings). This is an 1 hour show. Essentially Kenyan in both atmosphere and cuisine you will be offered a stunning selection of roasted barbecued meats; sizzling hot, presented on skewers and carved at your table; accompanied with jacket potatoes, crispy salads and tasty dips. Choose from prime Kenyan steak, succulent chicken and sink your teeth into a variety of meats. After the show you be taken back to your hotel.

Stage 1

The city tour begins with pick up from the hotel drive up towards the foot of ngong hills. At the museum you get to learn of both the Danish ways as well as the African ways portrayed by Karen Blixen.
Go through the coffee farms as old machinery and tools used to farm the coffee farm are on the museum. The museum also has artefacts used during the movie “out of Africa”. Have picnic lunch at the museum grounds.

Stage 2

The next stop visit Kobe Bead Factory. This is a pottery company that makes one of the world most beautiful beads. You will be shown all the stages from the start to the finish. It’s also a unique factory as it employs single mother parents from the poor neighborhood who earn a living to support their families. This pottery, ceramic and bead factory employs all single mothers to make its beautiful gifts and souvenirs – which are now exported all around the world. There is a gift shop which stocks some of their wares. Please note that the workshop is closed Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, however the gift shop is open 7 days. Then return to the hotel
