Mendoza City
We will pick you up by selected hotels in Mendoza center to start the tour, where you will see the old and the new city.
Mendoza Foundation Area
We will start the visit by the Foundation Area, the historical site where Don Pedro de Castillo founded the city in 1561. Here we will see the Museum, the Foundation Square and the Jesuit ruins.
Mendoza City Center
We will continue by principal squares where we can find the Cathedral, the Basilica of San Francisco, the ex Banco Hipotecario (now the Ministry of Culture and Tourism), the Mercantil Andina and ex Banco de Mendoza (now the Contemporary Art Space), the Plaza Independencia, Plaza España, and also the Civic neighbourhood with the Government House.
Hill of Glory - San Martin Park
We will continue our tour by Emilio Cicit street to reach the San Martin Park, which has 370 hectares and is called the lung of the city. We will enter through the famous "Portones" (gates) until we reach the "Cerro de la Gloria" (Hill of Glory), where the Monument to the Sanmartinian Act is located.
Mendoza City
After the visit and great knowledge of the city, we will be returning to our selected hotels in the city center.
After being picked up in your centrally located hotel in Buenos Aires, drive for 56 km on Avenida La Plata in a comfortable coach equipped with Air Conditioning and Heating. During the trip to La Plata, get a nice view of the same name River, while your multilingual guide explains the history and foundations of the famous square city.
Arriving at destination, visit the important Neo Gothic Cathedral, considered as one of the world's biggest. Inspired from Europe, it was made in 1932. Then, walk along the city's diagonals and be impressed by its perfect geometrical shape.
Visit the Astronomical Observatory and the Argentinean Theatre, while your guide explains by who and how they were built.
Get a glimpse at the Natural Science Museum, South America most important science museum. Hosting a collection of over 2 millions objects and specimens, it is as a center of Paleontology, Anthropology, Geology, Botany and Zoology (didactical and educational museum of Argentinean historical species). Exploring Mendoza’s vibrant culture and landmarks was a delightful experience for us, as we basked in the city’s rich history and stunning sights. Although the transportation could have been a bit smoother, our guide really brought the local culture to life with engaging stories and insights.

Wandering through Mendoza was a delight, especially when I caught a glimpse of the iconic Plaza Independencia bustling with life and culture. The only minor hiccup was that some of the walking felt rushed, making it hard to soak in the atmosphere.
