About This Tour

One of the unique things about Istanbul is the fact the city spans two Continents and this is an opportunity to explore both sides, which is separated by the Bosphorous River. On the first day you will be taken to the more famous historical landmarks on the European side including the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. After lunch this will be followed by the St Sophia Church and the Grand Bazaar. On your second day we you will sail along part of the Bosphorous where you can admire many of the old palaces which are sitting alongside some of Istanbul’s more modern residences. The highlight of the day will be the two minute crossing from Europe to Asia and finishing up on the Camlica Hill, which offers the best views of Istanbul and the Bosphorous.

From the moment we set foot in İstanbul, it felt like stepping into a living history book, especially during our private tour across two continents. One evening, we found ourselves sipping tea on a rooftop, the sun dipping behind the skyline, and everything just clicked—the laughter, the views, and the stories our guide shared about each landmark. While the itinerary was packed with incredible experiences, we occasionally wished for a bit more downtime to soak it all in and truly absorb the atmosphere.

Our four-day adventure through İstanbul in Turkey was a fantastic journey that allowed us to explore two continents’ worth of historical treasures. The blend of cultures and rich history was mesmerizing, and we especially loved the food scene—dining on fresh mezes and local kebabs was a highlight for our group. While the pace was sometimes a bit too fast for our liking, the overall experience was truly enriching and memorable.

Our recent journey through İstanbul in Turkey was a remarkable experience that allowed us to traverse between two continents, steeped in history and culture. Each day unfolded with carefully curated itineraries that embraced the essence of this vibrant city, revealing hidden gems that left us in awe. The private guide we had was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the Byzantine and Ottoman empires while making each site come alive for us.

The overnight experiences were particularly memorable, as we found ourselves immersed in local traditions, enjoying delicious Turkish cuisine and even a traditional music night hosted by our guide. If we had to pinpoint a couple of drawbacks, it would be that some days felt a bit packed, making us wish for a slower pace to fully absorb everything. However, the diverse landscapes and rich narratives made any small inconveniences fade into the background. Overall, İstanbul left us enchanted, and we cherished the moments spent together exploring its historical wonders.

Exploring the rich history of two continents in İstanbul was an unforgettable experience, especially on my private tour. I loved indulging in local delicacies during meals, though some of the logistics felt a bit rushed at times.
