As I wandered through ancient temples and marveled at the golden spectacle perched on its rocky perch, I felt a deep connection to the culture and history surrounding me. Though the long travel days occasionally wore me out, each meal—especially the vibrant street food—was a delightful surprise that kept me energized for more adventure.

We had an amazing time soaking in the vibrant culture and delicious street food while wandering through Yangon, but the long drive to the Golden Rock was a bit tiring. Watching the sun set over Bagan’s temples was a highlight we’ll always cherish, even if we wished for more time to explore the area.
